About the event
Mountain Stage is the home of live music on public radio. Each two-hour episode features performances from 4–5 guests and is bound to reconnect you with a familiar mainstay or introduce you to your new favorite band.
- Managed marketing, sales, and distribution of live show tickets (400 seats x 26 shows per year) using digital and traditional marketing methods.
- Achieved an 86% sell-out rate for shows over two years.
- Contributed as a writer for NPR Music, promoting the show and podcast to 2.5 million weekly visitors.
- Managed fan communications prior to and throughout the events.
- Maintained relationships with artist, management, and labels throughout the marketing process, both pre and post-show.
- BMI and ASCAP reporting.
- Coordinated with National Public Radio (NPR) marketing offices out of D.C. to maintain a cohesive brand image.
- Production of several NPR and WV Public blogs/articles on musicians and performances - drawing in upwards of 3,000 visits per post.
- Website and social media management (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter primarily.)
- Increased brand awareness through development of print ads and social media content.
- Various production tasks requiring high levels of detail orientation, time management, and people skills.
